“Hakuna Matata… it means no worries…”
The Lion King is iconic. One of my favourite EVER Disney movies, with one of the best soundtracks, is even more spectacular at the West End.
The way the animals come to life on stage is magical – the antelope jumping, giraffes towering high, the lion crowns… The scenery is beautiful and the costumes even more so. African patterns, beads and feathers decorate the outfits with shimmers of gold. My favourite colour- yellow – is widely used.
I’ve seen it twice in the last year and I will see it again, such is my love for this show!
